Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what personal data Develone LLC ("DevelShops", "we") processes when you create and use a store on the platform, for what purpose, on what legal basis, for how long, and how you can exercise your rights. It forms part of the Terms of Use and is governed by Argentina's Law 25.326 on Personal Data Protection. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
1. Data controller
The controller of the merchant's account data is Develone LLC. For any privacy query or to exercise your rights, write to contacto@develone.com.
2. What data we process
- Account data: store name, contact name, email and billing details you provide when registering or using the service.
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type (user-agent), access dates, and logs generated by use of the platform.
- Consent data: the accepted Terms version, together with the email, IP, user-agent and date, as evidence of your acceptance.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g. support) and our replies.
3. Your store's end-customer data
Regarding the personal data of your store's buyers, you (the Merchant) are the data controller and DevelShops acts as the data processor: we process it only to provide you the service and according to your instructions, never for our own purposes. It is you who must inform and obtain consent from your customers as required by law.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We process your data to: create and run your store, authenticate you, bill the service, provide support, send operational communications (confirmations, notices) and comply with legal obligations. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (the Terms), your consent, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.
5. Retention
We keep your data while your account is active and, after termination, for the period needed to meet legal, accounting and claim-defense obligations. Once those periods expire, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Third parties and processors
To provide the service we rely on providers that may process data on our behalf or directly, including: infrastructure/ hosting, transactional email delivery (Amazon SES), payment processors (e.g. MercadoPago) and analytics tools. Each provider processes data under its own policies and only for the purposes described. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
The platform and this site may use cookies and similar technologies to keep your session, remember preferences and measure usage in aggregate. You can manage cookies from your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.
8. International transfers
Some of our providers and infrastructure may be located outside Argentina. When this happens, we seek appropriate safeguards for the protection of your data under applicable law.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data (including HTTPS-encrypted connections and access control). No system is infallible: please keep your credentials safe and notify us of any unauthorized use.
10. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, update and delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise them, write to contacto@develone.com. The supervisory authority in Argentina is the Agency for Access to Public Information (AAIP), where you may file complaints.
11. Minors
The service is intended for persons with the legal capacity to contract. It is not directed to minors and we do not knowingly collect their data for opening accounts.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect legal or technical changes. The version in force will always be published on this page with its update date; material changes will be communicated through a reasonable means.
